We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary School in the Llandrindod Wells area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing individualized support to students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in implementing suitable strategies for students with ALN
- Provide individualized support to students with ALN, promoting their learning and development
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with ALN
Requirements:
- ALN experience and knowledge of effective behavioral management strategies
- At least 6 months of experience working in the education sector or equivalent transferable skills
- NVQ 2/3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification
