Work Schedule: Day Shifts
Role Summary:
This pivotal role involves executing both scheduled and emergency maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems across various commercial contracts. You will serve as the primary contact for all maintenance activities within your designated sites.
The main objective of this position is to perform technical repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). You will be responsible for ensuring that all technical and compliance documentation is consistently completed and maintained.
All tasks must be executed to the highest standards, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness while adhering to the company's Health, Safety & Compliance policies.
Key Responsibilities:1. Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timelines, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
2. Respond promptly to service requests from the Helpdesk, assessing job requirements and performing repairs as needed.
3. Prioritize maintenance and repair tasks to meet established timelines and response expectations.
4. Order necessary spare parts following established procedures.
5. Identify non-repairable faults in equipment and promptly inform the Line Manager, providing recommendations for suitable replacements.
6. Ensure compliance documentation is consistently updated and accurate.
7. Conduct surveys and prepare reports as required by management.
8. Perform minor modifications and installations within your technical expertise, adhering to current specifications.
9. Attend training sessions as necessary to keep your skills aligned with technical advancements.
10. Participate in an on-call rota as required.
Qualifications:
- F-Gas certification as a minimum.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum education level: GCSE / Standard Grade.
- High-quality repair and maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Efficiency and speed in task execution.
- Positive attitude towards work.
- Timely response to service requests.
- Achievement of PPM schedules within set timelines.
- Adherence to Health and Safety policies.
