Yorkshire Wildlife Park is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Nurse Registrar to join our expanding animal department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the veterinary care of all animals within the park.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the veterinary care of animals in the park, working under the guidance of our veterinary surgeons.
- Assist with transport logistics and documentation of animals into and out of the collection.
- Contribute to veterinary record keeping and oversee the ZIMS database.
- Work with our Director of Animals to ensure all licensing and accreditation documentation is up to date.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work during peak times, including weekends, bank holidays, and school holidays.
