Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Outwood Primary Academy Darfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of Maths and English, under the direction of teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teaching staff in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
  • Support the learning and development of students, particularly in Maths and English
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to manage the class and assist with whole-class teaching
  • Provide additional support to students who require extra help
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Working Pattern

The successful candidate will work 16 hours as a Teaching Assistant and 12.5 hours as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, working term-time only plus 2 days.
