Security Operations Centre Analyst

We're seeking a skilled Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst to join our team at The Guardian. As a key member of our InfoSec team, you'll play a vital role in protecting our organisation from cyber threats.
About the Role
- Monitor and analyse security-related alerts, identifying potential threats and incidents.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with our internal SOC team and security partners.
- Design and maintain SOC documentation, processes, and procedures to ensure effective security operations.
- Collaborate with the SOC lead to develop and implement security strategies and improvements.
About You
- Experience in security operations, IT tech support, or infrastructure operations.
- Proficiency in SIEM technology, incident response, and vulnerability scanning software.
- Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerability landscapes, and compromise methods.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
We operate in a hybrid working model, with a mix of office-based and remote work. You'll be expected to come into our London office 3 days a week.
