Job Description

Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Legal Executive

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Litigator to join our team at Browns Recruitment Consultancy Ltd. The role will initially focus on Property Litigation work before expanding into Commercial Litigation matters.

To deliver a high-quality and value-for-money service to our clients, meeting their expectations and needs.

To effectively communicate with clients about progress and costs, ensuring transparency and understanding.

  1. Compliance

To ensure full compliance with all firm policies, including:

  1. Quality Policy

To maintain the highest standards of quality in our work.

  1. Matter Management

To manage matters efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.

  1. Billing and Time Recording

To accurately record time and bill clients in accordance with firm policies.

  1. Confidentiality and Data Protection

To maintain confidentiality and protect client data in accordance with firm policies.

  1. Professional Obligations

To comply with relevant professional obligations, including those laid down by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority.

  1. Solicitors' Accounts Rules

To comply with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and notify the COFA of any potential breaches.

  1. Professional Indemnity Insurance

To take all reasonable steps to avoid negligence and notify the Managing Partner of any potential claims.

  1. Case Management and Marketing

To make full use of case management systems and assist with the marketing of services provided by the firm.

  1. Team Collaboration and Professional Development

To contribute to the team, assist in the development of fee earners, and attend group meetings.

  1. Continual Professional Development

To maintain and develop professional knowledge, ensuring compliance with the Law Society's minimum requirements.

  1. Quality Standards and Team Meetings

To attend and contribute to team meetings, providing input on enhancing the firm's quality standards.

  1. Additional Duties

To carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Business Head or Partner.

Requirements

To be a seasoned Commercial Litigator with keen attention to detail, able to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
