An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Security Officer to oversee the gatehouse operations for Kingdom Services Group Ltd, specifically at a facility within the meat processing sector.

Please be aware that this role is situated in a working environment that processes meat. Regular patrolling of the premises is a key responsibility.

Working Hours: Various shifts available to cover absences and holidays, including Monday to Sunday from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM and 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM.

Compensation: £12.52 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the exit of all vehicles from the site.
  • Conducting temperature checks and sealing of trailers.
  • Ensuring site biosecurity measures are adhered to.
  • Controlling access to site keys.
  • Overseeing access control for the premises.
  • Performing reception duties during out-of-hours.
  • Managing site weighbridge operations.
  • Monitoring animal welfare.
  • Conducting pallet inspections.
  • Performing basket inspections.
  • Executing searches of site personnel and vehicles, including production areas.
  • Completing waste documentation accurately.
  • Conducting temperature checks for site chillers.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A valid SIA license or in the process of obtaining one.
  • A comprehensive five-year checkable employment history.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Strong surveillance capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Proficient IT skills.
