About the Role

CMC Markets is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end strategic business projects that require coordination from numerous business areas to achieve a common business objective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Head of Business Functions, Global Head of Delivery, and Programme Manager to deliver complex business projects.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues, and agree suitable mitigation or corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project dependencies to ensure the overall project timeline remains on track.
  • Identify gaps or overlaps in projects and negotiate scope adjustments with project managers, executives, and sponsors.
  • Resource planning and forecasting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with business and IT individuals at all levels.
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
  • Provide a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service to customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Ensure confidentiality and undertake other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Must be an experienced Project Manager with a track record of managing complex projects.
  • Must have experience in Data Platforms & Technology Projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in working in regulated environments.
  • Proactive in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
  • Advanced communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to change.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Must have previous experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager.
