We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to support the Managing Director of a prestigious manufacturing business. This exciting role includes the production and review of the monthly management accounts, as well as providing exposure to all senior levels of the business and the rest of the Senior Management Team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in producing and reviewing financial reports, budgets, and KPIs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly accounts. They will also have the line management and support of a Financial Accountant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, and Credit Controller.
The key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:
- Production of management accounts, budgets, and KPIs
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Stock and variance analysis
- Key point of contact for the annual audit and all HMRC compliance
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Work with the FD on business planning
- Overseeing the finance team
