About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tutor to join our team at SMART Education Recruitment. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students in a home setting, working with students of various ages and backgrounds, and differentiating needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the individual needs of students.
  • Support students in re-engaging with education and developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE) or equivalent experience.
  • Subject specialism in English, Maths, and/or Science.
  • Experience working with students with additional learning needs (SEN/SEMH) and disengaged young people or looked after children.
  • An enhanced DBS check or the willingness to acquire one.
