Your Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Hatchery Operations Leader to join our team at Moy Park. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations within the hatchery environment. Your primary duties will include overseeing the processing, packaging, boxing, labeling, and counting of products as necessary.

The Hatchery Operations Leader will supervise hatchery staff to ensure that all manual tasks and chick sexing are performed with a strong focus on welfare and quality standards.

Working Hours:
The role requires availability for shifts on Fridays, including:
  • Tuesday 12/2pm to 8/10pm (Transfer Shift).
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is £15.83.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to think clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Proficient level of English.
  • Reliable timekeeping.
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 12 months of factory experience is required.
  • 12 months of hatchery experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Awareness of health and safety protocols.
  • Understanding of hygiene practices is desirable.
Availability:
Candidates must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and be available for night and weekend coverage as needed.
