Job Title: Casual Childcare Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Casual Childcare Practitioner to join our team at Fife Council. As a Casual Childcare Practitioner, you will work one-on-one with children and young people aged 4 to 18 with complex and profound additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create fun and engaging play and social activities tailored to the unique needs and interests of each child.
  • Provide essential support, including moving and handling, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Support the safe consumption of healthy snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs.
  • Develop a program of social activities tailored to each child's individual needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting.
  • Willingness to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification.

Important Information:
