Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Will Writer to join our team at TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic firm of chartered accountants in a part-time capacity.

About the Role: As a Will Writer, you will be responsible for independently managing your workload, taking initial instructions from clients, and preparing and advising on Wills of various complexities. You will also be drafting powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation, ensuring all documents are legally accurate and professionally written.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: You will be responsible for managing your own workload, taking initial instructions from clients, and providing high-quality, timely, and professional advice.
  • Document Preparation: You will prepare and advise on Wills of various complexities, drafting powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation.
  • Client Communication: You will correspond with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and other professionals, and attend clients in their own environments as required.
  • Documentation Maintenance: You will maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation on the company's computer system.
  • Client Care: You will promote a compassionate and sensitive disposition, ensuring a positive client experience, especially when dealing with the elderly or incapacitated.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have prior experience working within a legal or accountancy practice, with experience in drafting Wills and advising clients on estate planning matters.
  • Skills: You will have a professional, proactive approach, with strong client care skills and a sensitive, sympathetic understanding of clients' needs.
  • Qualifications: A STEP qualification or a Will writing/estate planning qualification is preferable.
  • Transportation: You will need to have your own transport.
