Your Purpose

As our MSK Physiotherapist and Clinical Development Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in elevating patient care standards and clinical excellence within Ascenti.

You will empower our Leadership Team to cultivate the clinical capabilities of their teams. This includes planning and managing clinical skills development and upgrading, leading specialist clinical training across your region. You'll also be readily available to provide expert clinical advice and direction when needed.

By building strong relationships within your partner region, you'll offer top-tier guidance on clinical standards and the optimal development of each individual clinician. You'll ensure that we embody our core values, particularly in safeguarding, patient safety, and clinical procedures.

How Your Role Fits Within Our Team

Reporting to the Area Leadership Team with a dotted-line connection to our Head of Clinical Excellence, you'll be a senior MSK physiotherapist. You'll exemplify best practices in your daily work and serve as a role model for others.

You'll be responsible for facilitating the clinical development and high performance of all clinicians within your region. Clinicians will turn to you for advice and support in their clinical practice, especially when a complex or serious case requires a more experienced hand.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to your standard duties as a physiotherapist, your role encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • United - Collaboration
    • Identify learning and development needs of your team of clinicians and address them directly and through your team of mentors. Ensure all physiotherapists maintain required records of their continuous professional development.
    • Support area and regional managers with the induction processes.
    • Assist, where needed, in clinical processes such as the promotion pathway and assessment, addressing any practice concerns amongst your team.
    • Support Ascenti's culture of recognition and our commitment to high-performing teams by identifying clinicians who demonstrate excellence in their practice.
  • Clinical Expertise
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical training programs for physiotherapists across your region.
    • Provide expert guidance on best practices in MSK physiotherapy to clinicians and leadership.
    • Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in MSK physiotherapy.
