Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock and raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and pack products for dispatch according to customer orders, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock, contributing to a just-in-time inventory management system.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, meeting customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving heavy items, with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
- Basic computer skills for stock management systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- FLT license, with a commitment to safe and responsible operation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Additional Information:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday. Shifts are available from 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, with opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic team.
