We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in Respiratory and General Medicine to join our team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Services: Deliver high-quality clinical services in respiratory and internal medicine to the local population, including inpatient care, respiratory clinics, and procedures.
- Develop Respiratory Medicine Services: Participate in the development of Respiratory Medicine services, ensuring they meet the needs of our patients and the community.
- Medical Education: Provide input to the education of medical undergraduates on placement at Northampton General Hospital, promoting excellence in medical training.
- Training and Development: Support and provide teaching and training of junior medical staff, postgraduate training, and nurse training on the unit, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Departmental Contributions: Participate in the Department of Medicine meetings, contributing to the development of departmental strategies and initiatives.
- Clinical Governance: Link with directorate clinical governance meetings, contributing to lessons learned from incidents and complaints, ensuring a safe and high-quality patient care environment.
