Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Budwood, a leading provider of residential care and support services for children and young adults with emotional behavioural difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small team to deliver individualized care packages and support plans.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential childcare and support.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people and their families.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, and be willing to travel to different locations as required.
  • Hold a relevant qualification in residential childcare or a related field, or be willing to work towards one.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car, as this role will involve travelling.
