**Job Summary**

Service Care Solutions - Social Work is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Payback Supervisor to join our team. As a Community Payback Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the supervision of offenders undertaking unpaid work in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct thorough pre-placement assessments to ensure the suitability of offenders for unpaid work
  • Develop and implement effective supervision plans to promote positive behavior and successful completion of work assignments
  • Monitor and report on offender attendance and progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address any issues
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and probation officers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to offender management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of offender activity, including progress reports and risk assessments

**Essential Skills and Experience**

  • Proven experience in supervising offenders in a community setting, with a strong understanding of the principles of offender management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with offenders and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience**

  • Relevant qualifications in social work, probation, or a related field
  • Experience of working with vulnerable populations, such as offenders with mental health issues or substance misuse problems
