About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at Opencast Software Europe Ltd. As a Technical Architect, you will play a key role in defining and implementing software architecture patterns and approaches to meet our clients' business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical designs for modern enterprise-scale applications, utilizing or defining effective patterns and technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with both business and technical stakeholders to provide technical direction and build consensus for your technical designs.
  • Identify and adhere to system qualities (non-functional requirements) and have an excellent working knowledge of software development, programming languages, modeling languages, and methodologies.
  • Evaluate and introduce innovative new patterns, approaches, and technologies into project teams.
  • Coach and mentor fellow team members.
Requirements
  • Experience in implementing software architecture patterns and approaches.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent working knowledge of software development, programming languages, modeling languages, and methodologies.
  • Ability to evaluate and introduce innovative new patterns, approaches, and technologies.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, Open Agile Architecture).
