Join The Resolute Group as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and take on a challenging role in our National Highways division.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage a team of junior Quantity Surveyors and support the delivery of live Highway schemes and other minor projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the detailed bills of quantities and cost breakdowns, monitoring project costs against your package of works, and supporting the management of sub-contractor costs and payments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a small team of Quantity Surveyors delivering live Highway schemes and other minor projects.
- Oversee the detailed bills of quantities and cost breakdowns.
- Monitor project costs against your package of works.
- Support with the management of sub-contractor costs and payments.
- Report and manage variations, claims, and other contractual issues that may arise.
- Mentor and manage the quantity surveyors, looking at the leadership and training aspects.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships both internally and with external sub-contractors.
- Degree qualified - Ideally in Quantity Surveying.
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven ability in developing more junior members of staff.
- Full driving licence.
