Job Opportunity: Heating Fitter/Plumber

We are seeking an experienced Heating Fitter/Plumber to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To carry out building maintenance works to council buildings, schools, civic buildings, office buildings, and leisure facilities.
  • To work as part of a team or independently, carrying out tasks with minimal supervision.
  • To be responsible for all aspects of one's primary trade of Heating Fitter/Plumber and any other trade works within one's own knowledge, skillset, and understanding as and when required.
  • To carry out Heating Fitter/Plumber work as instructed by mechanical supervisors/engineers, including gas-related pipework.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working within the building construction industry.
  • Understanding of the work and customer expectations with respect to building services.
  • Previous maintenance experience.
  • A fully qualified Heating Fitter/Plumber, with qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQ level 3.
