Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts. As a global leader in the industry, we are looking for individuals who can provide exceptional support to our customers in various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission new systems and provide emergency field service for customers when equipment or a process breaks.
  • Work closely with Project Engineers on project testing and functionality.
  • Provide telephone, email, and other support to customer engineering and maintenance staff.
  • Analyse and provide alternate solutions to problems and select optimal solutions.
  • Encourage the opportunity to sell additional value-added services, spare parts, upgrades etc.

Requirements:

  • HNC / HND or higher qualification.
  • Completed an apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic or Automation.
  • AC or DC drive experience.
  • PLC and HMI's experience.
  • Strong technical skills in electric fundamentals and computers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
