Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Randstad Tech IT. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to testbed and facility breakdowns using fault-finding techniques to conduct effective repairs
  • Cover maintenance, repair, and installation of new facility equipment
  • Follow documented standard work procedures and instructions using various hand power tools and lifting equipment
  • Engage with a diverse team, including peers, engineers, and external contractors
  • Run improvement and root cause investigation projects and present findings through technical presentations
  • Train and support apprentices and co-workers
  • Balance workload and priorities in line with business needs
  • Work to and model health and safety standards to ensure individual, team, and public safety
  • Keep the work area clean, tidy, and safe in line with 5S
Requirements:
  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent and/or relevant job-related experience
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance processes and tools, machine shop operations, equipment, and processes, plus familiarity with materials and quality objectives
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings and schematics
  • Candidate may be an expert in one of the following fields: Mechanical Maintenance, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, or Pipe Fitting
