Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a specialist in speech and language therapy, you will work closely with children, families, and schools to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing specialist services to children with speech, language, and communication needs. You will be responsible for assessing children's needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and working with parents and school staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess children's speech, language, and communication needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Work closely with parents and school staff to implement treatment plans and ensure progress
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to school staff on speech and language therapy
- Contribute to the development of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children with complex needs
- Collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists and community nurses, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist who possesses the following qualities:
- Registered membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience of working with children with speech, language, and communication needs in a school or community setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach
