Position Overview

HGV Class 2 Operator

Savanna Staff Solutions Ltd is actively seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Operators for a prominent client in the logistics sector.

This client is a leading provider of equipment rental services tailored for the film and television production industry, currently experiencing a high volume of operations.

Your daily responsibilities as an HGV Class 2 Operator will include:

  • Conducting thorough pre and post-journey vehicle inspections utilizing the RHA mobile application.
  • Transporting and delivering lighting equipment to various locations across the UK (no manual handling required).
  • Assisting with parking maneuvers under the guidance of a banksman.
  • Maintaining exceptional driving standards at all times during daily operations.

We invite applications from HGV Class 2 Operators who can easily commute to the designated area. Candidates must possess:

  • A valid UK Driving Licence Category C (HGV Class 2) with a minimum of one year of on-road experience.
  • A current Driver Qualification Card (DQC), Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), and Digital Tachograph Card, along with a solid understanding of road regulations and driving hours.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Our client is currently in need of HGV Class 2 Operators, with opportunities available immediately following registration and an assessment with their transport team.
