Thornbury Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in a community-based support role. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we strive to enable our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives where they can achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and take trips into the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a 15-year-old girl with learning disabilities and/or autism in a community-based setting.
- Work collaboratively with our expert Clinical Team and care coordinators to provide comprehensive support.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Provide physical interventions as required, utilizing your skills and expertise.
- Participate in ongoing training and upskilling opportunities to enhance your practice.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in learning disabilities support work.
- Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions in the last two years.
- Full UK driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights.
