We are seeking an experienced Auto Mail Lead Operator to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the production of both outbound and inbound document services, encompassing printing, mailing, and warehousing functions.

Working Hours: The position operates on a night shift schedule. In the first week, you will work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 11 hours per shift. The second week consists of Monday and Tuesday under the same hours.

Role Purpose

The Lead Operator plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operational tasks while supporting Senior Operator responsibilities. This includes ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and managing peak workloads effectively. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment and, in the absence of Senior Operators, take charge of Health and Safety, SLA delivery, and planning activities, including full supervision during weekend shifts. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives is essential, as you will drive the enhancement of existing processes and contribute to the development of new ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain adherence to established quality standards and processes in all tasks, ensuring best practices are followed.
  2. Exhibit effective coaching skills to guide the team.
  3. Monitor team performance and organize staff to meet SLAs.
  4. Ensure that Operators meet quality and throughput targets.
  5. Promote and support continuous improvement efforts.
  6. Assist in identifying process inefficiencies using continuous improvement methodologies.
  7. Take ownership of personal development while providing support to Operators.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Competency in using PCs and Microsoft applications.

• DMAIC Certification is preferred.

• Prior experience in Auto Mail operations is essential.
