Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team providing expert assessment and treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board East.
The successful candidate will form part of a specialized team providing nurse-led outpatient and telephone support clinics, supporting patients with initiation of CPAP and ongoing management, liaising with the wider Respiratory and Ear, Nose and Throat teams.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care for patients with sleep disordered breathing.
- Manage a designated caseload of patients and organize this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time and resources.
- Participate in the education, development, and supervision of other staff members.
- Work independently within guidelines/standard operative procedures to provide procedures and therapies towards the investigation and treatment of sleep disordered breathing.
