About the Role

The Mechanical Design and Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the design and development of bespoke systems and mechanisms for a global giant with a £15 Billion turnover. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading product development projects from concept to completion, including design review, DFMEA, calculations, 3D modeling, simulation, and prototype build.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support re-design work for systems currently in production
  • Lead product development projects from concept to completion
  • Design review and DFMEA
  • Calculations and 3D modeling
  • Simulation and prototype build
  • Design verification and validation
  • Support process FMEAs
  • Launch product into production
Requirements
  • Engineering degree
  • Experience in DFMEA processes
  • Design verification and validation experience
