Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver Instructor to enhance the skills of our drivers through comprehensive training programs. This role is essential in ensuring that our drivers meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering training sessions for Class 1 drivers, focusing on practical assessments.
  • Instructing on essential vehicle operations including checks, coupling, uncoupling, and maneuvering techniques.
  • Providing guidance on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Assessing and monitoring driver performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring all training activities adhere to relevant policies and legal standards.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
  • Current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Strong communication and instructional abilities.
  • Successful completion of relevant assessments.
  • Familiarity with Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
  • A commitment to safety and best practices.

Employment Type: Full-time, Temp to perm

Compensation: £15.50 per hour

Work Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Daytime hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekend work
