Rate of Pay: per Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a refuse collection vehicle or skip collection vehicle to remove and dispose of refuse and recyclable materials.
- Maintain effective relationships between the service and members of the public, ensuring the crew adheres to Council policies and procedures and operates efficiently to work schedules.
- Clean up spillage, loose refuse, and litter debris in any area, whether arising from skip collection operations or refuse collection and disposal of waste in an appropriate manner at designated disposal points.
- Identify premises with refuse storage and/or prevention problems and notify the Refuse Supervisor accordingly.
- Report damaged or unemptied bins in accordance with procedure, providing necessary details and affixing details to the affected bin. Notify the Supervisor of lost bins on the daily report sheet.
Important Requirements:
- Be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- Hold the right to work in the U.K.
