Senior Backend Software Engineer (Golang)

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, the VP of Engineering, and the broader technology team to enhance core products, implementing new features and improvements throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Your work will involve Golang and REST APIs within a cloud-based infrastructure, utilizing CI/CD methodologies. As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence and cultivate the engineering culture, offering mentorship and guidance on best practices to junior engineers in a supportive and diverse environment.

Work Environment:

This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility with a combination of remote work and office presence. You will be part of a welcoming and energetic team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in backend development with substantial experience in Golang
  • Strong skills in software architecture and design, with a solid grasp of software engineering best practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of fundamental computer science concepts such as OOP, Data Structures, and Algorithms
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • A collaborative mindset with experience in Agile methodologies
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
