3D CAD Design Specialist

Hours: Monday to Thursday 9AM - 5:30PM - early finish on a Friday at 4pm
Salary: Dependant on experience
Office Angels is seeking a skilled 3D CAD Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The role is to increase and enhance the drawing capabilities of the company, ensuring all drawings, layouts, and 3D models delivered comply with the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the drawings folders, the competitor portfolio, and CAD block templates to make files available for the Sales and Projects teams.
- Produce 3D and 2D layouts for key opportunities pre-sales and for projects post-sales in accordance with client and main contractor requirements.
- Produce designs for use with virtual reality headsets or 3D walkarounds to promote products at marketing events.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and constructors ensuring compliance with working at BIM Level 2.
- Production of graphic materials for marketing purposes, working with the Marketing Manager in the promotion of the client and the products available.
- Proven experience as a CAD Design Engineer, preferably within the chemical industry.
- Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide technical support.
