Job Title: Senior Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessment, exercise rehabilitation, and lifestyle behavioural change for patients living with overweight and obesity within our Healthy Living service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality assessment, exercise rehabilitation, and lifestyle behavioural change for patients living with overweight and obesity
  • Operateally support the weight management services provided by the Healthy Living team across South East London
  • Provide team training and development, line management, and visible leadership
  • Oversee students on placement and engage in some undergraduate teaching at King's College London Physiotherapy School
  • Work closely with the wider obesity team and participate in ongoing research work developed by the team
Requirements:
  • Broad range of experience at junior level including ICU, medical, surgery, neurology, and elderly care
  • Experience of operational team management
  • Teaching in a clinical setting
  • Student supervision/clinical education
  • General experience at least Band 6 level with evidence of specialist experience in physical exercise therapy with patients living with overweight and obesity
  • Previous experience of formal presentations to multi-professional groups
  • Experience at Band 7 level in Obesity rehabilitation
