Academic Opportunity in Earth Sciences

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Associate Lecturer in Global Tectonics. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Earth Science or a related discipline and demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate level in the field of structural geology and global tectonics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate level courses in structural geology and global tectonics
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback

Requirements

  • PhD in Earth Science or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate level in the field of structural geology and global tectonics
  • Practical experience and research in the general field of structural geology is desirable

Contract Details

This is a fixed-term contract for 11 weeks, starting on 2nd October 2023 and ending on 15th December 2023.
