People Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing NEC 4 Option D construction contracts, reviewing and updating project risk registers, and preparing and presenting monthly project commercial reports.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage NEC 4 Option D construction contracts, ensuring compliance with project governance and reporting controls.
- Regularly review and update project risk registers and risk spend profiles to minimize potential losses.
- Prepare and present monthly project commercial reports, including contract data metrics and forecasts to completion.
- Update and present monthly finance reports, providing variance analysis commentary and cash payment details.
- Manage procurement and survey activities, including building and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Review and report on supplier performance, including Earned Value and KPIs.
- Plan, deliver, and manage procurement activities for the civil team.
**Essential Skills and Experience:**
- Experience with NEC 4 Option D contracts and infrastructure project management.
- Proven track record of working in a client-side environment, preferably in the rail industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent numeracy and data analysis abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Asite Contract Administration Management System (CAMS) and SAP for contract reporting and payments.
**Desirable Skills and Experience:**
- Experience with cost reporting, including cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of risk and value management, including developing strategies and estimates.
- Developing packaging and procurement strategies for large, complex infrastructure projects.
