Position Overview

This position is for a seasoned Capital Projects Manager with extensive experience in the housing and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all facets of capital project initiatives within the organization’s property portfolio.
  • Act as the organizational lead for planned works across both residential and commercial properties.
  • Manage a dedicated team of Building Surveyors and Capital Works personnel.
  • Ensure the effective management of approximately 4,500 residential units and 300 commercial properties.
  • Supervise the strategic planning and execution of external contractors engaged in project delivery.
  • Focus on maintenance and construction activities to guarantee high-quality living environments for clients.
  • Lead retrofit decarbonization initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability.
  • Handle financial oversight and budgeting for capital projects.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant construction qualifications.
  • A proven history of success within the social housing domain.
