Behavioural Support Specialist

Job Summary:
U-Educate is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at one of our schools in Hampshire. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting the emotional well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with school staff, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students and staff, fostering a culture of mutual respect and understanding.
- Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes, providing valuable insights for school staff.
- Work closely with the school's SENCO to support students with additional needs, ensuring they receive the best possible support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children in a behavioural support role, with a strong track record of success.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate on update service, ensuring the highest level of safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A patient and empathic personality, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
