Position Summary
We are currently seeking to enhance our dynamic and diverse workforce by recruiting a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician.
Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, your primary duties will include:
1. Conducting thorough inspections, servicing, and repairs of commercial vehicles to uphold high maintenance standards.
2. Ensuring compliance with all current company Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines, policies, and mandatory legislation.
3. Participating in all necessary training programs as required by the organization.
4. Adhering strictly to the company's health and safety protocols.
5. Demonstrating consistent behavior that reflects the core values and principles of the organization.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
1. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent experience in vehicle repairs.
2. A solid technical background in commercial vehicle maintenance.
3. Basic computer skills and the ability to complete necessary documentation accurately.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive remuneration package that includes:
- A standard workweek from Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute paid break and an additional 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Permanent full-time employment with a 9.5-hour paid shift.
- Opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates, with Sundays and bank holidays compensated at double time, plus a day off in lieu for bank holiday work.
- A company pension plan with a 4% contribution from both employer and employee.
