Job Summary:

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Consultant Trainee to join our Asset Management team in the UK. As a Trainee Asbestos Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced consultants in delivering high-quality asbestos surveys and analytical works across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting asbestos surveys and analytical works in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Support experienced consultants in data collection, sample analysis, and report preparation
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of asbestos regulations, industry standards, and company procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five GCSEs grades 4/C or above, including Maths, English, and Science
  • Strong interest in maintaining a safe working environment for clients, staff, and the public
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High standard of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong observational skills and ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to achieve security clearance for UK and international contracts
  • Full UK driving license

Training and Development:

  • Initial Asbestos Awareness training and company Health and Safety inductions
  • CSCS trainee card
  • BOHS Proficiency Modules for Asbestos
