We are currently looking for a motivated Healthcare Support Worker to become a vital part of our welcoming team in the Bignold Ward at Caithness General Hospital.

This ward is a busy 21-bed facility focusing on post-acute and rehabilitation care. We manage a range of complex health issues, including strokes, neurological disorders, orthopaedic cases, and geriatric care. Our team has developed a comprehensive skill set across various nursing disciplines.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will receive support in pursuing further training and acquiring the necessary experience to provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team and play a crucial role in achieving rehabilitation objectives. Additionally, you will be essential in delivering pressure area care and personal assistance to our vulnerable patients.

This position is a permanent part-time role, comprising 34.1 hours per week, with a rotational contract covering a 7-day schedule based on service needs.
