The successful candidate will be working within a multi-track department, dealing with complex serious injury claims from the initial stages through to settlement. The cases will include traumatic head, spinal cord, and polytrauma injuries, with some of the higher value claims reaching over \u00a10m. The successful candidate can work from Cardiff, London, or Southampton.

In this role, you will engage directly with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to facilitate the best possible rehabilitation and achieve favorable claim settlements. While knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and its guiding principles is advantageous, it is not mandatory, as specialized training in this area will be provided.

We are searching for dedicated, client-focused, forward-thinking, meticulous, enthusiastic, and sociable individuals who can inject a dynamic and vibrant approach into the position. Strong organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Proficiency in handling complex personal injury claims is a prerequisite, and exceptional client care skills are vital for addressing sensitive issues involving emotionally vulnerable clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a caseload of catastrophic injury cases, ensuring high-quality legal advice and representation.
* Conduct thorough investigations, assess liability, and provide sound legal opinions to clients.
* Collaborate with medical experts, barristers, and other relevant parties to build strong cases.
* Negotiate settlements, participate in mediation, and represent clients in court when necessary.
* Keep up-to-date with legal developments, case law, and legislation relating to catastrophic injury claims.
* Maintain accurate and detailed case files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
* Provide exceptional client service, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and effective communication throughout the process.
* Contribute to business development activities, networking, and raising the firm\u2019s profile within the field.
