We are in search of a dynamic and innovative Transport Planner who possesses the necessary expertise to execute services in accordance with company protocols and client service level agreements (SLAs).

They are looking for a Transport Planner to join a successful team at a depot that caters to the needs of various retailers.
The role involves working Monday to Friday with alternating shifts of 9am-6pm and 12pm-9pm.Primary Responsibilities:
- Your key focus will be coordinating the transport planning operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective product deliveries.
- You will be responsible for resource allocation, scheduling organization, and ensuring that effective planning is established to meet agreed service levels.
- Daily input of key performance indicators (KPIs), preparation of delivery documentation, and resolution of any inquiries.
- Reporting on incidents and vehicle damages.
- Ensuring compliance with transport legislation from a planning standpoint.
- Overseeing the workload for your third-party logistics (3PL) transport.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- We are looking for a transport planning expert with operational experience in a high-paced environment.
- You should be well-versed in contemporary transport planning tools and have a strong commitment to continuous improvement, consistently aiming to enhance operational efficiencies and fleet performance while minimizing costs.
- A solid understanding of relevant transport regulations is required.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an FMCG transport setting is essential.
- A keen attention to detail is crucial.
