We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Specialist to join our Product Management team at Close Brothers Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the configuration for our core Lending Platform product estate.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Product team to provide configuration support and assist with the implementation of new requirements.
- Analyse stakeholder objectives by investigating business requirements or root cause analysis of issues to present and implement configuration solutions.
- Consult with the Change team and/or vendors to understand requirements in sufficient detail to configure the application.
- Approach business SMEs for elaboration of requirements and evaluate proposals in relevant cases.
- Regular engagement with system vendors to resolve queries, build a better understanding of the system, and learn about new changes being implemented.
- Analyse release notes issued by the product vendor on each version update, assess new changes, and implement new or update any required configuration.
- Strong technical aptitude and good knowledge of the asset finance business domain in a business or configuration analyst capacity.
- Experience of configuring Asset Finance software specific for Leasing/Lending industry, e.g., ALFA v5, FIS Ambit, Casiopae or Netsol Ascent.
- Ability to investigate defined business areas and IT systems and adopt an analytical approach when developing models to represent those systems.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with Business as well as Technology stakeholders using suitable modes of communication.
- Awareness of the rationale for modelling and the use of models to analyse, develop, and implement effective information systems.
- SQL experience.
