Late Shift Engineer

About the Late Shift Engineer Role:
This part-time role will be a minimum of 25 hours per week, covering the evening shift, which is predominantly Tuesday to Saturday, 5pm-10pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a prompt response time to all occupied guest rooms, maintenance requests in a professional and courteous manner.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in their tasks, completing their allocated jobs list with a positive eye for detail, ensuring the hotel is both safe and functional for all guests and colleagues. They will also be responsible for the security of all hotel tools and equipment supplied or utilised during the performance of duties and report any substandard or defective equipment.
The successful candidate will have gained work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment. They will have a passion for Engineering within a hospitality setting and will be motivated to change and grow. Excellent levels of verbal and written communication in English are essential, as is the ability to work with autonomy, responding to guest requests in a polite, courteous and effective manner.
