Senior JavaScript Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team in Billericay, working two days a week on-site and three days from home. As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment, focusing on development to evolve and scale existing platforms, as well as working on new Greenfield projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment
  • Develop and maintain high-quality frontend code
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to ensure technical feasibility
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Build reusable code and libraries
  • Provide mentoring and support to junior team members

Requirements:

  • Strong JavaScript experience
  • Experience in mentoring and technical project leadership
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS, REST APIs, and GraphQL
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Good appreciation of UI/UX design
  • Experience working on high-performance/high-traffic websites, with eCommerce experience a plus
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills
