We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team at Philema Hospitality Management Enterprise. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Kitchen Operations: Assist with the efficient running of kitchen production areas, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Wash dishes manually and using the dishwasher, and maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
- Food Preparation and Storage: Assist in basic food preparation if needed, and store away all crockery, cutlery, and glassware in a clean and organized manner.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Sweep and mop the kitchen floor, empty bins when full, and report any fault equipment to the kitchen manager or chef.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain good working relationships with all other departments, communicate information throughout the hotel, and comply with the daily cleaning rotas.
- Additional Duties: Assist in other areas of the hotel when required, take all dirty linen and cloths from the kitchen to the hotel laundry, and ensure good working relationships with all other departments.
Requirements:
