About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Broker to join our team at IDEX Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our marine broking team, you will be responsible for placing complex marine risks with global syndicates and insurers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and insurers to place complex marine risks
  • Utilize your extensive network to identify new business opportunities and grow our marine portfolio
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to ensure we remain competitive and ahead of the curve
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marine broking, with a strong focus on hull and war risks
  • Proven track record of placing complex marine risks with global syndicates and insurers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with underwriters and insurers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
