About the Role

Konecranes Agilon is a cutting-edge Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) that revolutionizes warehouse management by connecting information to material flow through modern cloud-based technology in industrial environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our UK team, responsible for acquiring new prospects and sales opportunities, competitor analysis, and market requirements. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing assigned accounts, developing all sales channels, and selling and promoting Konecranes Agilon nationwide to achieve sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new prospects and sales opportunities through effective market analysis and competitor research
  • Build and develop existing customer relationships to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Configure solutions, prepare quotations, drive negotiations, and close contracts to meet sales targets
  • Screen and segment assigned accounts, plan related sales strategies, and collaborate with the Account Management team
  • Meet set sales targets while adhering to margin, commercial, and technical deviations
  • Identify and manage potential risks related to contract agreements
  • Provide input to budgeting and gather market intelligence to inform sales strategies
  • Cross-promote Konecranes' offerings to drive business growth

Requirements
  • Technical solution sales experience with a strong understanding of intralogistics processes
  • Knowledge of industry segments and ability to communicate complex solutions to customers
  • Leadership experience and excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills in English
  • Experience in international projects and accounts, with a strong ability to travel (80-90%)
