Position Summary:
In the role of Administrative Support Specialist, you will be essential in facilitating the efficient functioning of our SEND Transport services. Your responsibilities will include aiding in the procurement and upkeep of specialized transport services while providing exceptional customer service to our varied clientele.
Primary Duties:
Act as the primary liaison for senior management, effectively filtering and resolving issues. Proactively handle correspondence, ensuring all tasks are identified, monitored, and resolved in a timely manner. Organize transport arrangements utilizing established protocols and systems. Assess and review contract performance, addressing concerns and escalating complaints when necessary. Coordinate meetings, offering administrative support and ensuring follow-up on key action items. Provide clear information and guidance regarding policies and procedures relevant to the service area. Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal colleagues, service users, and external vendors.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience: Demonstrated experience in a client-focused environment, with skills in financial oversight and collaboration across various disciplines.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational and communication skills, a solid understanding of data management systems, and proficient ICT capabilities.
Personal Attributes: Initiative, meticulous attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Required Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
